How batches work at Maneesha Nrityalaya
- Batches of various levels are conducted daily, with one-hour sessions taking place simultaneously in different rooms.
- Each batch is taught by our experienced staff, all of whom have been personally trained by Maneesha Tai.
- To ensure individualized progress, Maneesha Tai herself provides one-on-one attention to every student, every day.

Bachelors & Masters Courses
Acquiring a Degree in Kathak from these universities requires students to learn in a Guru-Shishya format, and this is exactly what we offer.
Students should have at least 5 years of Kathak training.
An in-person audition will be conducted for all applicants. You need to keep an eye on the admission procedure of the University, and co-ordinate with us accordingly.

FAQs
We teach traditional Kathak with a focus on the Benaras Gharana of Kathak.
Students of age group 8 and above are welcome to join. There is no age limit!
New batches begin in January and June every year. However, admissions for ongoing batches are also considered, based on the requirement and availability.
You are always welcome to give a visit to our class during admissions to experience the teaching style and environment.
Classes are typically held thrice a week, every alternate day with each session lasting 1 hour. Class timing will be either 6 to 7 pm or 7 to 8 pm depending on your batch.
No prior experience is necessary for beginners. Advanced levels require an assessment to determine suitability.
Yes, all students participate in our annual dance performance, which is integral to their learning. Senior students might get the chance to perform at other events sometimes.
Yes, certificates accredited by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University are awarded upon completing various levels, including our Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses.
